MacroPATH combines ease of use and fast operations to expedite the digital description as an integral part of the grossing workfl ow. It is always ready to use, with all functions conveniently accessible to the operator. Capturing pictures, recording audios or videos and adjusting zoom is now eff ortless, thanks to the waterproof touchscreen and foot pedal, which provide fast and intuitive access to all functions. Moreover, the newly integrated MileVOICE feature enables the operator to perform tasks using simple voice commands. This standardized approach enhances accuracyand reliability, making the fi nal diagnostic report a perfect complement for Telepathology.

MacroPATH is equipped with MileWATCH built-in, which enables full integration with LIS and PACS. Additionally, MileWATCH capabilities can be optionally extended to other Milestone units, allowing continuous tracking of specimen data from its collection until the embedding process, thereby providing a complete case history and comprehensive evidence.

The LOOX advanced IR sensor bar tracks the operator’s eye movement. The operator can smoothly perform tasks such as zooming, capturing images, and recording videos or audios by simply looking at the command icons on the screen. This allows for hands-free documentation during the grossing phase.
