Field Service Engineer
Full Time
Eastern United States

Provide mechanical, electrical and system communication service expertise for the repair and ongoing maintenance of Milestone’s medical products in the US. Speak with customers and Milestone team members on a daily basis to identify and respond to service needs in the field. Use skills to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose product performance issues and make necessary repairs, as required.

  • Build and maintain quality relationships with customers
  • Provide customer phone support for product service needs
  • Provide backup Service Partner dispatch support for Service Manager
  • Support product quality control inspections
  • Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the managers
  • Complete case service reports and case data management in Salesforce.com in a consistent and timely manner
  • Travel throughout US (up to 75%, occasional trip to Europe, and other sites outside US) to provide service repair at customer facilities
  • Participate in monthly rotation of afterhours phone service support
  • Perform approved weekly overtime on as needed basis with 1.5x of hourly wage for hours worked over 40 hours per week
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold in the field.
  • Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook

Candidate should be a team player with problem-solving skills that create win-win situations for Milestone and our client base. Flexible, organized and task oriented with ability to travel nationally with occasional international trips.

Bachelor Degree and/or appropriate certifications in electronics/electrical engineering are a MUST, computer skills including Microsoft Office, strong electronics/mechanical background.

Experience: 5+ year experience as a service technician, preferably in the field of scientific instrumentation. Customer service and client support experience necessary.

Account Manager Mid-East

Milestone is seeking an energetic sales professional. This person will be responsible for all activities of the sales process including lead generation, demo, sale, installation and basic training functions of Milestone’s product portfolio. Our ideal candidate is a HT/HTL with experience in sales, or serious about progressing her/his career into sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with laboratory professionals and providing quality customer service
  • Working with senior management to update status of ongoing activities and projections for region
  • Representing Milestone at trade shows and conferences within sales region and throughout the US as needed by the company
  • Support marketing efforts to create stronger brand recognition and lead activity
  • Work with team members in office to coordinate demo and order fulfillment opportunities
  • Utilize and maintain customer database on Salesforce.com
  • Support resolution of customer complaints in a professional manner by working with other team members

The Territory Account Manager will be provided with the necessary equipment to execute the job functions within the region.
Desired skills include ability to effectively communicate with laboratory personnel, awareness of daily laboratory demands and workflow, strong computer skills, experience with Salesforce and Adobe Acrobat.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus in the human sciences. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years field sales experience with medical devices and must have valid driver’s license.

Territory: Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and East-Tennessee.
