Patented JFC solution (ethanol + isopropanol + long chain hydrocarbon) for consistent and reliable processing of fatty tissues.
For low-fat specimens, Milestone also offers a proprietary solution - ProWAVE - with a very useful status color indicator.

Thikness Check

CheckLITE

CheckLITE automatic noncontact specimen thickness device.
World’s first device to automatically signal with a green light whether a specimen in the cassette (standard/mega) is at the selected or below thickness (2, 3, 4, 5 mm). If not, a red light will signal the need to recut within specifications.

Cleaning

HistoMATE (coming soon)

Automatic cleaning device for Histos/Pathos racks. No xylene required. Utilize high boiling point - isoparaffin (e.g. Clear-Rite - R. Allen). Just set time and temperature protocol. Through heating and pow e rful stirring of solution the rack is perfectly clean from wax residues in just 5’-8’. Exhaust fan to eliminate vapors for an improved work environment.
